(Patria) - The Grand Hyatt Shanghai is a stunning five-star hotel in the Chinese city of Shanghai. It spans from the 53rd to the 87th floor of the Jin Mao Tower.

The 88-story skyscraper rises to a height of 370 meters (with the antenna up to 421 meters), reports Punkufer.

It is constructed to withstand typhoon winds of up to 200 kilometers per hour and an earthquake of magnitude 7 on the Richter scale.

The hotel comprises 548 accommodation units ranging in size from 35 to 277 square meters, top-notch restaurants, bars and a pastry shop, a luxury spa area, and many other amenities.

The famous hotel atrium, spanning 33 floors with a barrel-vaulted ceiling, bordered by 28 ring-shaped corridors and spiral staircases, rises to a height of 115 meters.

At its base, there is the Patio café, which serves afternoon tea.

Some guests come here for the magnificent view and do not mind spending around two hundred euros per night to enjoy it.
