'Kimeel' in Rajlovac opened a business center and retail store, with over 30,000 workers employed in companies based in Novi Grad!

(Patria) - In the Rajlovac industrial zone, at Safeta Zajke street no. 195, the business center of the company for sale and distribution of construction equipment and materials „Kimeel“ was ceremonially opened today, which also includes a retail store with over 10,000 items, and an educational center.

Numerous guests, representatives of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, business partners and friends, as well as employees of the company „Kimeel“, attended the ceremonial opening, and the facility was opened by the Mayor of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, Semir Efendić, and the company directors, Edita and Muhamed Mizdrak, by cutting the ribbon.

Mayor Semir Efendić, while congratulating on the opening of the facility, said that it is a big step forward in the business and development of the company, which is significant for everyone else, and for the municipality of Novi Grad.

“I am extremely pleased when I see many people from the business world getting along and cooperating well, and building good mutual relationships. As we say in our country: 'harmony builds a house', and certainly a country. This is especially significant due to the activities of this company, which is involved in construction. I must say that I personally have an affinity for construction and I love everything that is being built. We have built many facilities in the municipality of Novi Grad, and when someone else builds them, it brings us even greater satisfaction,” said Mayor Efendić.

The Mayor reminded that the Municipality launched a credit line initiative for the economy of Novi Grad a few years ago, and that more than 50 million convertible marks have been disbursed by banks to companies in Novi Grad.

“We have monitored the effects and results of that, and the growth in the number of employees is truly impressive. Today, we have around 43,000 employed residents of the municipality of Novi Grad. Of these, more than 30,000 work in companies based in Novi Grad, and that number was 20,000 in 2013. Therefore, 10,000 new jobs have been opened in Novi Grad, which is approximately 1,000 per year. These are truly big and serious results, and I would like us to continue in that direction and for us, as a Municipality, to be a service to all those who have the knowledge, capital, and plans to develop, to open new jobs, and to build their lives and the lives of their employees right here in Novi Grad, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is then even more satisfying for us to do our job, because it then has its meaning. We will be happy if in the future we open more such and similar facilities in the Rajlovac area, companies that have decided to develop and operate in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Mayor Efendić.

Director Edita Mizdrak emphasized that “Kimeel” has been participating in the construction of both superstructure and infrastructure for fifteen years, and with this business center, the company is expanding its activities towards retail and education.

“We started with the Sarajevo bypass in 2009-2010, we continued by following projects on Corridor 5C, the Tarčin-Ivan section, after that Zenica-Bypass, Počitelj-Zvirovići. We have a large number of tunnels behind us in which we participated, such as Ivan, Hranjen, Ponirak, etc. We mainly supplied formwork systems and accompanying materials, professional equipment, waterproofing, and everything that accompanies infrastructure and superstructure construction. Today, together with you, we are expanding our business activities and opening a retail store with over 10,000 items within our business center. Our goal is to build, grow, and tell new and successful stories together with you,” emphasized Director Edita.

In addition, there is an educational center, a place where the latest products from the construction sector will be promoted and presented, serving as a place for the exchange of knowledge, experience, opinions, and also for socializing.

Furthermore, the company “Kimeel” has so far, in cooperation with partners, participated in the execution of works such as waterproofing, installation and placement of waterproofing, and interior works.
