Exhibition "Images from the World" marks the start of the Italian Culture Month in BiH today

The Italian Embassy in BiH is opening the Italian Culture Month in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the exhibition "Images from the World", realized in cooperation with the Simone Tetti Association, which will be displayed from November 3 to 7 at the premises of the Delikatesna radnja venue in Sarajevo, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The exhibition "Images from the World" tells the unusual story of Simone Tetti, a young Italian photographer, traveler, and aerospace engineer, born in Rome in 1982.

Affected by a severe form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma, at the age of 10, despite his illness and medical treatment, he managed to obtain an engineering degree in 2005 and travel the world, from Tokyo to London, from the USA to South Africa.

After his passing in February 2013, his friends and family founded the Simone Tetti Association – Life is not breathing, life is deeds, and launched the WORLD! project – an exhibition, which had already been displayed in Rome and London, presenting a selection of his photographs – with the aim of supporting osteosarcoma research conducted by the Pathology Laboratory at Polyclinic Umberto I in Rome.
