Halid Bešlić and Ana Bekuta presented the song 'Zagrli me'

(Patria) - The music video for the joint song by Ana Bekuta and Halid Bešlić, titled "Zagrli me", saw the light of day today.

The lyrics for the song were written by Halid's long-time collaborator Mirko Šenkovski Geronimo, while he composed the melody together with Samir Kadirić - the head of Halid's backing band, who was also in charge of the arrangement.

These two, along with clarinetist Ismar Porić, are, besides Ana and Halid, the protagonists of this music video, produced by "Invenio films", under the direction of Dalibor Mrdić.

The scenes were filmed at the end of May in the well-known Sarajevo restaurant "Pod lipom", as well as on the Nišići plateau, and they convey the atmosphere of a reunion of two people, who were brought together and separated by numerous events throughout life.

The two bards of the regional music scene used the filming to reminisce about their joint performances at the end of the last century in numerous cities of the former Yugoslavia, to leaf through old photographs, some of which were included in the video itself, but also to try traditional products of local cuisine, especially pies, which Ana claims are nowhere as tasty as in BiH.

Both Ana and Halid are expecting a dynamic concert tour this summer, but they hope their paths will cross in one of the cities in the region, so they can present this joint song to the audience live.

Thus, Halid will perform in Podgorica on July 5th, and in Trebinje on July 27th, when the "city of the sun" will host the legend of folk music.

Bešlić will also perform on August 8th at the opening of the 7th edition of the Zenica Summer Fest festival.
