Amadeus Foundation lends instruments to talented musicians, invites citizens to join the initiative

(Patria) - The AMADEUS Foundation Sarajevo, as always, in addition to organizing concerts, pays great attention to young talents from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Valuable violins have been lent to young talented musicians: Antonio Šarić from Mostar and Hana Huseinbegović from Zenica, and five guitars have been donated for permanent use to the Association of Children with Special Needs OAZA Sarajevo. The instruments will be officially presented at the concert on October 5, 2024, at the musical-stage spectacle REQUIEM performed by the Bulgarian State Opera and Ballet from Stara Zagora.

"I am immensely grateful and honored by the violin you have gifted me for use. Your generosity and support mean more to me than I can express in words. I promise to work diligently and dedicate myself to my improvement with this violin, in order to justify your trust and reciprocate this honor through my musical life. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart," stated Huseinbegović.

Antonio Šarić thanked for the instrument that will help him continue to learn and develop his musical talent.

"I am looking forward to the award ceremony that will take place on October 5th in Sarajevo. Thank you for your support," Šarić said.

The Amadeus Foundation thanks the previous users of these instruments for their impeccable maintenance and wishes them further success in their careers.

Anja Udovčić is a student at the Secondary Music School in Zenica, and she received a violin for use four years ago.

"On this occasion, I would like to thank Professor Emir Nuhanović and the Amadeus Foundation from Sarajevo for the borrowed instrument and the opportunity given to me to improve my skills on an exceptionally high-quality violin, which has enabled me to progress faster in my education. With this instrument, I have participated in various international competitions and seminars such as 'Primavera' in Bijeljina, 'Stringfest' in Sremska Mitrovica, and 'Zlatne stepenice' in Valjevo. This instrument has greatly facilitated my education and professional progress, as well as the entire process of preparing for festivals and competitions. Therefore, I am very grateful for this opportunity and for the cooperation with Professor Emir Nuhanović and the Amadeus Foundation, who enabled me to play this wonderful instrument".

In November 2019, Maira Isaković received a violin of excellent quality and German origin from the "Amadeus" Foundation for Art and Education, led by Maestro Emir Nuhanović and with the generous help of academician, Dr., Professor Yevgeny Xaviereff.

"The violin was donated to me as part of the ceremony and musical-stage spectacle 'Carmina Burana,' which was held in the 'Mirza Delibašić' hall in Sarajevo. Four and a half years have passed since then, during which I actively played the instrument, and it has been of great help in my musical development and education. On this occasion, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the trust shown and the invaluable help and opportunity to use the aforementioned violin. So that new generations have the same opportunity to improve and use this wonderful instrument, I am returning the violin to the hands of the Amadeus Foundation for Art and Education".

The AMADEUS Foundation invites citizens who have unused instruments in their homes to donate them either to the Amadeus Foundation or to a child learning to play an instrument.

"We musicians love our instruments and see them as living beings, and instruments 'love to be played.' Closed in their cases, your instruments are waiting for young virtuosos to release the music of Mozart, Bach, Beethoven from them... Let's bring instruments to life in the hands of children and give these children the opportunity to become part of the greatest international family: the MUSIC FAMILY.

Those who donate an instrument before our REQUIEM on October 5th should contact us and will receive free tickets for REQUIEM. See you on October 5, 2024, at KSC Skenderija. And don't forget: Investing in education is the best and holiest investment for the future of any country. What Lana Pudar and Ismail Barlov are in sports, Antonio Šarić and Hana Huseinbegović are in music, our musical hopes," state Amadeus.
