Film 'One Battle After Another' Wins Oscar for Best Picture

(Patria) - The film "One Battle After Another" directed by Paul Thomas Anderson won the Oscar for Best Picture last night at the 98th Academy Awards, an award from the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

In this category were "Bugonia", "F1", "Frankenstein", "Hamnet", "Marty Suprême", "Secret Agent", "Sentimental Value", "Sinners", and "Train Dreams".

The winning film, which received 13 nominations, also won Oscars for Best Director, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Adapted Screenplay, among others.

Jessie Buckley won the Oscar for Best Actress for the film "Hamnet".

Nominated in this category were Rose Byrne for "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You", Kate Hudson for "Song Sung Blues", Renate Reinsve for "Sentimental Value", and Emma Stone for "Bugonia".

The Oscar for Best Actor went to Michael B. Jordan for "Sinners".

Nominated in this category were Timothée Chalamet for "Marty Suprême", Leonardo DiCaprio for "One Battle After Another", Ethan Hawke for "Blue Moon", and Wagner Moura for "Secret Agent".
