Festival of Love and Friendship for the 31st time in Bihać: Three nights of outstanding interpretations

(Patria) - On the banks of the Una River, the 31st Bihać Festival will be held this year, gathering the biggest stars from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. Three nights of outstanding interpretations in which all visitors will be able to enjoy, reminiscing about the best days.

As the Festival Director Dilvad Felić told Hayat.ba, this is a Festival of Love where the citizens of this city open their hearts to all people, regardless of who they are or what they are.

First of all, I thank you for the long-standing media partnership, promotion, and of course, a friendly relationship.

The Bihać Festival is on the banks of the Una this year. It celebrates its 31st birthday, celebrates love, celebrates new friendships, and in a way, for the 31st time, we are fulfilling the basic purpose of our life's cultural mission. To promote through love all the divine blessings that God has given us, to live in multi-ethnicity, multiculturality with others and the different. 71 singers, 71 ambassadors of everything we have been doing on the stage of the Bihać Festival in recent years, will perform.

All of this is a sufficient and valid reason for people to come and be a part of this spectacle and, of course, to confirm the epithet of a leader in the Balkans. At least, that's what they officially said about us. Unfortunately, in the past, it was made to seem that such big things only happen in big cities, and we opened our hearts in Bihać to everyone. I must say that at that time nothing serious was happening. In that system, but also in this one, our artists actually always have to show their values and capacities whether in Zagreb, Belgrade, or Sarajevo. But now Bihać, thank God, has become a bastion of culture in the region.

So far, I have personally received five lifetime achievement awards, which actually speak volumes about how recognized this project is at the highest levels.

Felić pointed out that Hayat TV recognized the quality of this program, reminding that love is actually the primary motive of this Festival. He announced more than 100 singers who will come to the Festival, which, of course, impresses him as an organizer.

This year, the surprise is certainly that we will, not repertoires, but organizationally, open our Krajiška hearts to everyone at a time when they are trying to impose things on us through various policies, divisions, and things that do not belong to the people, and to divide us. On the contrary, the Bihać Festival is the main motive for us to be together and for love to be a message and a lesson for all of us. There will be about a hundred or more singers, artists, radio and television directors, managers, and producers who will come and be personal guests of this event. This actually impresses me as an organizer and, of course, everyone in the festival's management.

Some big names like Nihad Alibegović, Adnan Nezirov, Snežana Đurišić will be participants of the festival, which, as Felić points out, is a sufficient reason for citizens to respond to the Festival.

There will be seventy-one on stage, but there will be over 5,000 singers. So, it's like that in Bihać, depending on the capacity of the venue where we perform. Our people love to sing, because the people we bring, metaphorically speaking, to the stage, are so welcome here that they make the people sing too. As many people as there are, that many singers there will be. Perhaps those in the audience are a bit more outgoing and cheerful than us who will be on stage.

But in any case, everything that is currently current at the regional level will be present. On the first night, we have our Nihad Alibegović, we have our Nazif Gljiva, we have Ibri Selmanović, we have Adnan Nezirov, we have Armin Muzaferi, etc. In addition, we are again giving a chance to young, talented singers. The special guest will be Elvis Mešinović, who gathered 10,000 people in his Velika Kladuša. So, these are parameters we could not ignore. That's why it was a kind of ticket for him to the Bihać Festival.

On the second night, we also have about 30 performers in the review section, a mega concert, the concert of the decade, as it was called, Šaka Polumenta with his band. And on the third night, we also have about 30 performers in the review section. I named that third night after my song "That's How You Sing in Bosnia". But within the review evening, we have a mega concert, two kings and a queen, where Adnan Nezirov, Nihad Alibegović, and the queen of the Balkans, Snežana Đurišić, will sing live - Felić told us.
