Elektroprivreda BiH calls on customers to read and report their meter readings on September 1st

(Patria) - From September 1, 2025, the calculation of electricity consumption for household customers will be based on prices determined by the Decision of the Energy Regulatory Commission in FBiH on granting approval to JP Elektroprivreda BiH for the proposed prices of supply to end customers by the public supplier.

Depending on electricity consumption, three block tariffs will apply to the household category:

â–¶ Green block tariff - for consumption from 0 to 350 kWh
â–¶ Blue block tariff - for consumption from 351 to 1000 kWh
â–¶ Red block tariff - for every kWh over 1000 kWh.

The Distribution System Operator (ODS) JP Elektroprivreda BiH is intensively carrying out activities to prepare for an extraordinary reading of measuring points, in order to delineate consumption up to September 1, 2025.

Bearing in mind that it is necessary to read consumption at 741,000 measuring devices, a large number of inaccessible measuring points, and limited human and technical resources, reading all measuring devices on September 1st is technically not possible.

Therefore, the Distribution System Operator (ODS) JP Elektroprivreda BiH calls on customers who regularly submit reading data to do so on September 1, 2025, and other customers to record their meter readings on September 1, 2025.

Instructions on how to read electricity consumption, i.e., meter readings, are available on the portal of JP Elektroprivreda BiH ( www.epbih.ba ), link EPBiH

In case of possible discrepancies, customers will have the option to submit reading data by phone or email, to the following toll-free numbers and addresses:

Data can also be submitted via the web portal (www.epbih.ba), mobile application (option - inquiries and complaints), by mail, or in person at the premises of the competent electro-distribution branches.

For customers whose measuring points are integrated into the remote reading system, available consumption data on September 1, 2025, will be used to delineate consumption.
