DF Sarajevo: Farmers cannot wait for the Trojka to have fun in a festival atmosphere

(Patria) - While the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton and the Government of Sarajevo Canton are having fun in a festival atmosphere, farmers have not received the incentives they were promised, the DF announced.

"It is worrying that the Trojka, through its incompetence, has reduced the Budget of Sarajevo Canton to a state that calls into question the survival of farmers' work in Sarajevo Canton.

It is additionally devastating that the Government of Sarajevo Canton stopped the farmers' protest at the entrance to the city, who were heading towards the Government building, obviously wanting to prevent the citizens of Sarajevo and numerous tourists from seeing the Government's incompetence.

Such neglect towards farmers who feed their families through honest work is yet another indicator that the state of the Budget in Sarajevo Canton is catastrophic.

Obviously, the Prime Minister and ministers of the Trojka have decided to include the non-payment of incentives in the austerity measures, which jeopardizes the survival of agriculture in the canton.

Furthermore, while farmers are pointing out the problems they face, Nihad Uk and the ministers are enjoying the festival atmosphere, thereby sending a clear message to citizens that they currently have no time for their problems. The Democratic Front clearly states that it supports the demands of more than 2,000 farmers who do their job honestly, responsibly and hard," the statement said.
