Bosna hopes for a triumph over Partizan in a packed Zetra

(Patria) - Bosna's basketball players will try to defeat Belgrade's Partizan today in Zetra and secure a decisive game for placement in the ABA League semi-finals.

The Sarajevo team showed a much better performance in the first quarter-final match played in Belgrade (81:73 loss) than was the case on March 8 in front of their home crowd.

At that time, Muhamed Pašalić's players suffered a debacle against Partizan in Zetra, losing by as many as 40 points (56:96).

However, the last match with the black and whites gives them hope for optimism ahead of today's clash.

- The match in Belgrade is an excellent guideline and direction for Sunday's game. Energy, physicality, and competitive spirit were present for all 40 minutes. However, regardless of the first encounter, Partizan is still a big favorite.

I hope for the largest possible audience turnout, a good basketball performance, and a reward in the form of a victory for my team, because they deserve it through everything they have shown this season - says Bosna's coach Muhamed Pašalić.

Jure Zubac announced today's match in Zetra on behalf of the players.

- I think we showed in the previous match that we can physically match Partizan and that this is the right path by which we could achieve a positive result in Sarajevo on Sunday.

I would like to invite the fans to come, support us, and together try to achieve victory in the playoffs - are the words of the wing player of the Sarajevo team.

If Bosna manages to triumph today, the decision about who goes to the semi-finals will be made in Belgrade, and the date of the match and schedule will be announced later.

The Bosna - Partizan duel will be played in Sarajevo's Zetra starting at 5:00 PM.
