Veteran companies in Zenica-Doboj Canton receive incentives for hiring new employees and successful business operations

(Patria) - Minister for Veteran Affairs of ZDK Adnan Sirovica signed contracts with beneficiaries of the self-employment incentive program for members of the veteran population within the "Biznis plus" program, to whom funds in the amount of 181,853.62 KM were allocated through a public call.



The self-employment program for members of the veteran population in this canton is implemented through the "Prvi biznis" (First Business) and "Biznis plus" (Business Plus) incentive programs.

"Biznis plus" is intended for previously established companies and consists of two variants. The first variant encourages the hiring of new employees with an amount of up to 9,000 KM.

The second variant approves incentives for companies that have maintained their tax registration and are settling tax obligations in the amount of 1,000 to 7,000 KM, proportionally to the amount of profit tax paid.



- The fact that you have hired new employees from the employment bureau's registry and that you regularly settle your tax obligations implies the successful operation of your businesses.

This is a bright example of how the state and its capacities are strengthened and a good environment is ensured for future generations - said Minister Sirovica.



Earlier, contracts were signed within the "Prvi biznis" variant, through which newly registered businesses were supported with 12,000 KM each, and 1,032,000.00 KM was allocated for this purpose.
