(Patria) - The American company Zippia, which mediates employment and publishes business data, has announced how much Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates earns daily.
Gates was the richest man in the world for almost 20 years, before being surpassed in wealth by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
However, when it comes to wealth, he remains among the global elite.
According to Zippia, the average person earns $2.7 million in their lifetime, while Gates earns three to four times that amount in a single day.
Estimates of his exact daily earnings vary, but one of them is $10.95 million, which amounts to $117 per second.
According to another estimate, his daily earnings are $7.6 million.
Microsoft is one of Gates' sources of income. Since he founded the company with Paul Allen in 1975, it has dominated various technology markets.
Gates' sources of income also include real estate investments. He donates a large portion of his earnings to charity, primarily through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, reports Yahoo Finance.
