BH Telecom Achieved Record Revenue in the First Six Months of This Year

(Patria) - BH Telecom d.d. Sarajevo announced that it achieved positive business results in the first half of 2023.

The observed period can be characterized as a period of macroeconomic uncertainty which brought specific challenges that needed to be managed, according to the statement.

"Increasing energy and fuel costs that contributed to the spread of inflation, and thus affected increased instability of supply chains, lower disposable income of our users, and increased logistics as well as all other business costs (primarily employee costs), are characteristics of business operations in the first half of 2023.

In addition to the above, our company achieved significant growth in numerous key indicators. Total revenue amounts to 256.8 million KM, which is 19.5 million KM or 8% more compared to the revenue achieved in the first half of the previous year.

The success of our business in the observed period also marked the return of our revenues to the highest level last recorded in the first half of 2016, when it amounted to 261.8 million KM," BH Telecom stated.

They emphasize that another significant result is the increase in productivity, measured by revenue per employee.

"We managed to increase this value by 7% compared to the same period last year. These outstanding results testify to the continuous growth of our company and the dedication of our team in achieving set goals.

In addition to the aforementioned increase in business costs, the gross profit achieved in the first half of 2023 amounted to 26.4 million KM, which is 4.2 million KM or 19% more compared to the dynamic profit plan for the observed period," BH Telecom stated.

BH Telecom's strategic commitment, it is added, is continuous investment in infrastructure quality and user loyalty, thereby laying the foundation for the future and enabling long-term company growth.

"Our focus in the past period has been on investing in content, increasing broadband internet access capacity, and improving the user experience.

Considering the above, we are particularly proud of the fact that we increased our user base by 25,000 users compared to the same period last year, which significantly contributed to revenue growth," BH Telecom concluded.
