'Bentbaša Cliff Diving' Returns to Sarajevo on August 3rd

(Patria) - Diving at the iconic Sarajevo's Bentbaša has become a recognizable brand of the city of Sarajevo, and this year the competition is scheduled for Sunday, August 3rd.

Preparations for the 11th edition of diving at Bentbaša are well underway.

The best divers from across the region and Europe are coming to Sarajevo to showcase their incredible skills and precision in performing dives from a height of 19 meters.

Bentbaša will once again become a stage for spectacular dives, which, as every year, will leave the audience breathless.

- In the coming days, we have intensive work ahead of us, followed by the final arrangement of the location and technical preparations, as we have been doing with dedication for years.



Every year, we strive to raise the bar, both organizationally and athletically, so this year will be no exception.

Our goal is clear: for Bentbaša to shine again this year, and to show once again that Sarajevo has the capacity for events of this level.

Admission to this event is free - stated Dino Bajrić, the most decorated Bosnian-Herzegovinian diver, on behalf of the organizing team.

'Bentbaša Cliff Diving' will, as in the previous year, be part of the 'Summer Festa', which will be held from July 30th to August 3rd at three attractive locations: Bentbaša, Dariva, and in 'Safet Zajko' park.

The festival offers a rich and diverse program that combines sports, culture, and the city's natural potential, including a music event, art performances, art workshops, a beach volleyball tournament, and educational and sports workshops.
