ASA Banka leads regional dialogue on the future of capital markets: "Horizonti kapitala" conference on October 1st in Sarajevo

(Patria) - Following the successful first edition of the "Horizonti kapitala" conference, ASA Banka is organizing a new gathering of financial sector leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs from across the region on October 1st in Sarajevo. The conference, like the previous one, will be a meeting place for exchanging ideas, as well as a space for opening new directions in the development of capital markets in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region.

Horizonti kapitala 2024 highlighted the need to strengthen institutional cooperation and increase private sector participation to build a functional and attractive investment environment. With the participation of over 200 leaders from the financial and real sectors, the conference initiated a dialogue among regulators, banks, insurers, funds, investors, and the academic community, and laid the foundation to grow into a regional platform for creating innovative strategies and strengthening the financial market.

"The conference raised important issues, from the need for legislative framework reform and strengthening transparency, to mobilizing citizens' savings and developing new investment instruments. This year, we are continuing the dialogue and elevating it to a regional level. We expect renowned participants from BiH and abroad with whom we will jointly seek answers to key questions of stability, liquidity, and attractiveness of the capital market," stated Samir Mustafić, President of the Management Board of ASA Banka.

The focus of the conference, which will bring together distinguished experts and prominent business leaders, will be on global capital flow trends, the impact of new instruments and digitalization of financial services on the capital market, and the importance of regional cooperation and market interconnection.

It is expected that the second edition of "Horizonti kapitala" will further confirm the conference's role as a platform that not only opens key discussions but also inspires concrete initiatives for the long-term strengthening of capital markets in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire Adria region.

ASA Banka has also confirmed its proactivity in the development of capital markets with the successful issuance of bonds worth 60 million KM. The transaction, realized at the beginning of this year, represents an important step towards strengthening investor confidence and activating domestic market mechanisms, which further confirms the Bank's stability and its leading position in the financial sector.
