ASA BANKA AND MASTERCARD DONATION PRESENTED AND GATHERING HELD FOR CHILDREN AT PARENTS' HOUSE AS PART OF THE 'BUY WITH HEART FOR CHILDREN' PROJECT

(Patria) - As part of the "Buy with Heart for Children" campaign launched by ASA Banka and Mastercard last year, a donation of 20,000 KM was presented today to representatives of the Parents' House – Heart for Children. The campaign was launched with the aim of supporting the work and promoting the activities of the Heart for Children association. The Heart for Children association has been providing support to children and youth and their families for 20 years to raise public awareness and better understanding of the difficulties faced by children suffering from malignant diseases, as well as their families.

Recognizing their needs, ASA Banka and Mastercard launched the "Buy with Heart for Children" campaign last year. For every payment made with the ASA Banka Mastercard Standard Revolving card, ASA Banka and Mastercard donated 2 KM to the association. This was a joint activity in which every card user, by paying with the ASA Banka Mastercard Standard Revolving card, participated in the final amount.

Our goal is to show responsibility and provide support in the treatment of our little ones and their families precisely through such projects. The challenges that this wicked disease brings often exceed the capabilities of individuals and families, and we are happy to be able to help. With the support of our partner Mastercard, we are happy to present this donation today," stated Aja Smječanin, Head of Marketing and Communications at ASA Banka, and also thanked the clients who recognized the importance of this campaign.

The allocated funds should facilitate the treatment process for the children and help their families cope more easily with the challenges during the difficult periods of their loved ones' treatment. A special program with a children's animator, Mravko Travko, was organized for the children currently undergoing treatment at the Parents' House and in the oncology department of the Pediatric Hospital, and they enjoyed the entertainment with surprise gifts, forgetting at least for a short while the difficulties they face daily.
