Survey on Croatian presidential elections: Zoran Milanović holds a massive lead

(Patria) - Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) published its first poll for the presidential elections to be held at the end of the year.

The survey was conducted for HRT by the agency Promocija plus.

Candidate rankings:

- Zoran Milanović - 36.5 percent;

- Dragan Primorac - 23.9 percent;

- Marija Selak Raspudić - 9.4 percent;

- Ivana Kekin - 7.1 percent;

- Branka Lozo - 3.1 percent;

- Miro Bulj - 2.9 percent;

- Mislav Kolakušić - 1.6 percent; and

- Tomislav Jonjić - 1.4 percent.

Other (potential) candidates have a rating of less than 1 percent, with undecided voters at 12.1 percent.

Second round of presidential elections

The HRating shows that Zoran Milanović and Dragan Primorac would face off in the second round.

That ratio would end with Milanović winning 52.6% and Dragan Primorac 33.9% of the vote.

Just over 6% of voters who voted in the first round would stay home in the second. And the number of undecided voters would drop from 12.1% to 7.4%.

September poll

Promocija plus conducted a survey for RTL at the beginning of September. These were the results at the time:

- Zoran Milanović - 36.3 percent;

- Dragan Primorac - 21.3 percent;

- Marija Selak Raspudić - 8.2 percent; and

- Ivana Kekin - 4.8 percent.
