Americans Acquired Large Stakes in Pretis and Binas

(Patria) - In April of this year, a then-unknown buyer acquired large stakes in the companies Pretis and Binas, which are among the leaders in BiH's military industry, writes BiznisInfo.ba.

The buyer operated through a custodial account opened at a domestic bank, so it was not possible to know who it was.

The unknown buyer then acquired about 33 percent of the shares of Pretis in Vogosca and 23 percent of the shares of Binas in Bugojno for a total of about 15 million KM.

A few days later, the media reported that the American company Regulus Global was behind it all, allegedly being the buyer of the shares.

However, a few weeks later, BiznisInfo.ba discovered that the real buyer of the shares was the company Sikto, registered at the address Maglajska 1 in Sarajevo.

It has now turned out that this information is accurate, as the company Sikto has now officially taken ownership of the mentioned shares, i.e., transferred them from the custodial to the ownership account.

In the meantime, this company has bought more shares, so it now holds a 41.5 percent stake in Pretis, and has seriously approached state ownership, which amounts to 51 percent.

Also, in Binas, they now have a 25.69 percent stake, and they are also the second-largest shareholder after the Federation, which also holds a 51 percent stake.

The company Sikto was founded last year in Sarajevo and is registered for renting and managing its own or leased real estate.

The company had no revenue last year, operated with a loss of 71,032 KM, and had one employee.

However, what has changed in the meantime is that Sikto has new owners.

Namely, at the time of purchasing the shares of Pretis and Binas in April of this year, the owner of the company Sikto was the company Mann Holding s.r.o. from the Czech Republic.

In the meantime, a change has occurred, and its owner is now the company Sitko Acquisition LLC from the USA. This is a company registered at the address 3500 S. Du Pont Hwy, Dover, Kent County 19901, Delaware.

Let us also recall that the companies Pretis and Binas are on a significant rise and are expected to achieve even better results in the coming years.
