(Patria) - Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS on Saturday, working on documenting the criminal offense of aggravated murder, under the supervision of the District Public Prosecutor's Office of East Sarajevo, detained 27 people from the area of the municipality of Sokolac.
Police also searched houses, auxiliary facilities, apartments, and other buildings at several locations in the area of that municipality, the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
During the searches of the facilities, a certain amount of weapons and ammunition was found and confiscated.
After criminal processing, the detained persons were released.
Work on this case continues, the statement said.
Let us remind you, the operation followed a shooting that occurred in Sokolac on Wednesday, June 7, in which one person was killed.
